May 15th COVID-19 Operating Update
First National Bank has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Governor of Virginia to maintain a safe operating environment. The safety of our clients, staff, and the community is always a top priority. On March 18th, First National Bank began serving our customers by taking a new approach to banking, and we will continue to operate under those same guidelines.
All 9 of our drive thru locations throughout the Lynchburg region will continue to operate Monday – Thursday, 8:30 to 5:30 and on Fridays 8:30 to 6:00. Lobby and vestibule banking is available by appointment to complete new account opening or sign loan documents. Customers are required to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire prior to admittance to our lobbies. Loan documents and new account forms may be signed electronically, via DocuSign, from the home or office. Online and mobile banking is always available for our clients to check balances, make transfers, pay loans, and initiate bill pay transactions to pay bills or make a person to person payment.
